Focus and Scope

    The scientific journal ‘Grain Crops’ seeks to familiarize the scientific community with research findings in the field of agriculture, to stimulate or continue scientific discussion on theoretical, methodological, and applied issues, and to engage specialists in the relevant field in the implementation of innovative developments by domestic scientists.

    In accordance with Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Approval of the List of Fields of Knowledge and Specialties for the Preparation of Higher Education Applicants” № 266 dated April 29, 2015, the directions of the journal correspond to the field of knowledge “H – Agriculture, forestry, fisheries and veterinary medicine”, for the speciality Н1 Agronomy.

    Our collection publishes materials of a general, problem-posed and methodological nature devoted to topical issues in the agricultural sector, as well as significant events in the life of the Institute and anniversaries. We publish the results of scientific research and articles from dissertations for the degrees of Doctor of Philosophy and Doctor of Agricultural Sciences.

    The Editorial Board of the scientific journal ‘Grain Crops’ accepts for publication only materials relevant to the topics and issues covered by the scientific publication, concerning scientific research on cereals, grain legumes, groats and oilseeds (as defined by the Law of Ukraine ‘On Grain and Grain Market in Ukraine’ dated on January 9, 2007 No. 547-V).  Articles published in the journal are recognised as professional only for the speciality Н1 (201) Agronomy.

    The collection focuses on research within the scientific profile of the publication (cluster) ‘Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences’ in the following fields: plant breeding, biotechnology, seed production, crop production, agriculture, agrochemistry and plant protection.

    The publication is intended for research staff at agricultural research institutions and professors and lecturers at agricultural higher education institutions, doctoral students, postgraduate students, specialists, students and experts.
